Speaking of sick children, I have decided it is one of the worst feelings ever as a parent. There were two or three days last week where Nate was just miserable (see picture below as proof!): he couldn't breathe and he didn't know why, and he spent all day either crying or trying to sleep but not being able to because he couldn't breathe very well. I could barely think about anything else. I would have given almost anything for him to have felt better. I would have rather been sick myself ten times in Nate's place. Before I became a mom, I knew it must be awful to have a sick child, but I didn't know how hard it really would be!

That camper doesn't look happy! Glad he's feeling better.
Oh! Poor Nate! I, too, am glad he's feeling better. The closest experience I've had to something like this is when my cat gets sick and you can't communicate to each other what's wrong. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have the one in distress be your *child.* My friend, Jen, from work is probably going to have her baby either today or tomorrow! She's been looking forward to meeting Angelina for quite some time now. :) I'm praying for a healthy birth and baby. Seeing her big belly as she left work yesterday made me miss you. :)
Kato!!
This is my first time checking out your blog. It looks great! I am so sorry about your sick baby. Like you, I can not even imagine how scary that is, expecially since he has no idea what is wrong with himself. You guys are in my prayers!! I hope you have a memorable 1st Halloween with him. You and your family is in my thoughts and prayers!! - Jenny
