So Cute~ I think it's so fun that Nate at least acknowleges Lucy, I know it's probably kind of scary though, you'll have to watch extra careful to her. Miles just ingored Elijah, not fun for pictures but made life easier for some things. Lucy is getting bigger already!! Time flies, three weeks old tomorrow!!
Hey Katie, Yes we are now seeing a DAN! dr. Although, she is not listed on the website, but was referred to us by a number of people who have seen great results. She treats kids in 29 states, crazy. I'm sorry to hear you're overwhelmed. Are you able to ask the therapists if they're familiar with a good dr. treating autism in your area? Our therapists helped so much to inform me as they'd hear of parents trying different things, they'd connect me with the moms to talk and I miss having Miles in therapy for all the resources they gave. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. I'm going to include a link to a video that I watched the other day, and it's very hopeful, but requires tissues :) And, I know this is long enough, but I was so excited the other day to be looking through notes to show the dr. of Miles' development along the way. It's so hard to remember (NOW) the days where he had absolutely no words and would flap his hands to get a point across. There is HOPE! Love, Sara
