Cast

Yesterday at the orthopedist was not nearly as traumatic as it could have been. They didn't need to set the bone, so they just put the cast right on--it was very easy. Nate slept great last night and is his usual self today.

soooo sad, but somehow very cute. i'm glad it wasn't a serious injury and hope he gets along ok with the cast. sometimes i think children handle things way better than we would if it happened to us :) How are the enzymes going?

Hi Sara! The enzymes have pretty much just become a normal part of our routine now. Nate is used to taking them before each meal and in his water in between meals. He has made some great improvements (a bit more social, definitely more vocal even if no words), and of course it's hard to say what is from enzymes and what would have happened anyway, but I'm generally pleased with the enzymes. :)

I can't believe Nate "broke his arm!!" That breaks my heart! IN the photo the first thing I noticed was his haircut and how it makes him look so much older --- all of a sudden a little boy, not a toddler. He is growing so fast! Leigh
