Accountability

OK, it's time for me to lose the last few pounds of "Lucy weight" I'm holding onto. I have 5 pounds to go to get to my pre-Lucy-pregnancy weight, but 15 pounds to get to my pre-Nate-pregnancy weight. I realize I may never get back to that pre-Nate weight. So I would like to lose 10 pounds in the next 2 months, which is totally doable at just over 1 pound per week. I am writing about this here because now I will feel accountable to someone/something. I plan on re-aligning my eating lifestyle with the Weight Watchers philosophy and also exercising more--at least once this week, then up to 2 or 3 times a week in the next month. I took my "baseline weight" this morning, so I'll check in on the blog once a week on Thursdays. Here I go!

Go you! :) I wish I only had 10 pounds to lose! I still have about 50!!!!! Whoa!

Good for you! As I said when I was there I will do this with you , but if you don't mind I will not report my progress (or lack thereof) on your blog! My goal will be 8 pounds from where I am right now.
I am off to the wom'ens retreat this afternoon - you know how helpful that will be!!!!

WOW! I would have never guessed that you had weight you wanted to lose ... you look awesome!

Do I count my pre-pregnancy weight as before I got pregnant or before the 30 lbs I gained before even getting pregnant?

Good for you for setting a goal; I only hope I can be so disciplined!

Good luck Kato~ You are very disciplined when you put your mind to something so I know you will do it. Don't get frustrated, it took me a relatively short time to lose the first 25 lbs. but those last 5 took almost the same as the 1st 25lbs.! Keep at it, wish I was there (CA) so we could do Yoga together!

Hey, I'll partner with you! I still have 5 lbs to lose to get to pre-pregnancy weight, but I was probably 8 lbs heavier than I'd like to be when I got pregnant. So I'd like to lose 10+ pounds, too. I know I need to not eat junk and do some more proactive working out (not just walks around the neighborhood).
