Yesterday, I brought all the paperwork to La Tierra to register Nate. To my surprise, they put up absolutely no fuss about his not having any immunizations after 18 months. I had brought a letter that included some of the state law that he can't be denied entrance into the school, but I didn't have to bring it out; I just signed their exemption request. Woo hoo! He starts this Friday, May 2.
Tomorrow is his birthday! Three years old... I can barely believe it. I'm going to run by the store today to get birthday candles and the ingredients to make an easy cake (for everyone else to eat; I still have frozen leftovers of the GFCF cake for Nate).

I think immunizations or rather, lack there of, are becoming more common place these days, glad you had no glitches!
Glad you had no fights. Having no immunizations is pretty controversial. I know here and Arizona all children must have immunizations unless a doctor specifically states otherwise. I will bite my tongue on this one, because I don't really agree with no immunizations. :) Can't believe he is 3 already! Wow. He is so adorable, Katie!
Shey - Many people have strong opinions on immunizations, for sure! I probably used to have a similar opinion to yours, but having a special needs child changes one's perspective on many things.
I bet it does. :) Like I said. I won't say anything. lol. I respect what you are doing, and I really think you are an amazing mother. We can all learn things from each other, that's for sure. People here in NC can learn things too. Not about immunizations, but about spending time with their children, etc.

HAPPY B-DAY NATE!!! What a celebration! I haven't been on here in awhile, and it was so cool to hear his responses to the BIble stories. Isn't it just so awesome to look back and see the progress! Way to go, you guys! Hope you have a great celebration of his life!
