Weight loss update

It's the end of week one!

Exercise one time? Check.

Eat more "intentionally" without unwise snacking (including no more finishing the kids' food)? Check.

Weight loss? Less than half a pound.

Huh? In my experience, the first week of purposefully eating better and exercising usually shows huge results because of water weight and whatnot, but not this time! I may have chosen a bad week during my month to begin, so I'm hoping next week will be much more fruitful.

Wow, Shey! I gave in to candy and junk food this week -- it has been a bit stressful. I think I haven't gained, though, and maybe lost a bit (nursing at least helps!).

I lost three pounds from walking all over Europe. The 16 pounds of bread I ate didn't help the cause though. The biggest loser show makes me think I should exercise. So far though, I'm not. I really want to have one last blow-out-deep-fried-everything meal before I go healthy. HAve you tried Santoros in Mission Viejo across from Saddleback college? Deathly greasy but oh so tasty!

Hang in there Katie, don't get discouraged!! I have stayed the same since moving here, but that's good, I was where I wanted to be, okay so I would really like to lose 1lb, those french fries are my nemesis, but what's 1lb right? Keep pluggin away, maybe next week will be huge!!!

Please people! I have 50 pounds to lose not 10! ;) LOL. I have a ways to go!!!
