I took Lucy to her 12-month check-up (yes, a month late) on Thursday. Here are her stats:
18 pounds (5th percentile!)
29.5 inches tall (50th percentile)
17.5 inches head (25th percentile)
We have a tall and thin girl! The doctor asked if she says one or two words, and I thought about it--she says several.
Ball="ba"
Book="buh"
Daddy="daaaa-DEE!"
Mama="______" (still has never said it)
Drink="dee"
Bubbles="bubba"
Bye="ba ba" while waving
I think she's just starting to say a consistent word for "Nate."
and my favorite:
Flower="wawoof"

Very cute! :) She is little.
A month late isn't bad, Eli hasn't had his 18 mo. check up yet and he'll be 21 mo. in 2 days! Has her weight always been on the small side? Can't believe all the words she's saying, very sweet!
Yes, Lucy's weight has always been in the 20th percentile or lower, though her height has always been similar too. This was the first time there was a big disparity between height and weight.
Come to think of it... Angelina was always VERY small for her age as well. At a year old, she was still wearing 3-6 month clothes. ;)
Ezra's little too, just like Lucy. So you know those percentile charts are based off of formula-fed babies, so that could be why she's "little." Ezra hasn't figured out the "da" sound, so no "dada," but he's got "mama" down for awhile now.
