Crafty kick: gifts

Two friends are having baby girls in March; their shower is in February and I decided to make/embellish a few things for them. (Neither of them reads this blog, so I can post everything now!)

Three onesies for baby Hailey

And two longer shirts for Hailey

Two onesies for baby Mallory (the cupcake is an iron-on)

And my favorite: a dress for Mallory

I was thinking of trying to make some soft-soled shoes to go with the onesies in the apple/pear fabric, since it wouldn't take much fabric. But I might just decide to be done, since my "crafty mood" for the week seems to have passed. :)

I don't think you need anything since these are so adorable@ What are onesies? Does that mean all one piece? Don't you love making things like that! Such fun and so cute. L&K N

Nannie, yes, onesies are all one piece. I don't know when the name started to be used, but that's what I've always called them!

Shey, I always try to sew a bunch of things at once while I am feeling crafty, and then I put all my sewing stuff away until the mood strikes again. I hate all the clutter that my sewing machine and accessories create.

You need to go into business. I alone could keep you busy with all our friends who are having babies....

SOOOO cute! Love, love, love the onesies with the pears and the crocheted flower. Adorable!

Love the dress Katie!! Where did you find the iron-on cupcake? Averie's obsessed with cupcakes right now. I thought about finding a patch or iron-on to add to a plain tee like that!

Sara, the iron-on is from JoAnn's. It came in a two-pack with the *other* iron-on (peas with "sweet pea") featured.
