Then, my little Levi smiled right at me for the first time. It was like, "Thank you, God, for that confirmation that he is OK."
This is late for a baby to have his first smiles, which of course also had me a bit worried (is he developing OK?). I think Levi's being born a little early contributes to his smiling a little later, though.
This is what melted my heart this morning; he was cooing in addition to the smiles:

How adorable!! And what a wondering confirmation from the Lord!! :D
Yes... when they are born early... they are delayed... hence the reason Zoe didn't walk until she was 17 months, but she was technically 14 1/2 months. ;)
Wonderful - not wondering! ha ha!
What a sweet smile, worth the wait! I'll be praying for the cold to pass quickly and relatively painlessly. Love the crafty things you've been doing too, so cute! I always look in the scrapbooking section for fabric labels that I then sew onto onsies, they are hard to find but normally pretty cute when I do!
I left a comment this morning and it isn't there! Guess I still haven't learned to do it. Anyway I'm sure that smile was worth the wait and I'm sure the early birth makes him take a little longer to do thins. The picture is adorable. L&K N

Katie he's absolutely beautiful! I am so glad to hear that he is doing so much better and that you are having some very precious moments with him!!
