Skirt love
Remember that fabric that went well together? I used the aqua polka dot for the quilt back and ended up with quite a bit extra. I put some of it to use in this new skirt, which I like a lot. I also cut some of the red-pink polka dot (Lucy's request) for a skirt for her; I'll use the flower print to make her ruffle.

Skirt is cute as can be. Be sure to send a picture of Lucy's when you do that. Just got back from the beauty parlor and I'm a new woman! L&K Nannie
i always love your creations. you are amazing. though i was just thinking... you and lucy (and other girl relations, myself included) benefit wonderfully from your creativity. have you ever thought about making clothes for the boys?
Good question, sis! I haven't been too inspired to make a ton of stuff for the boys, just because most of the cute fabrics out there are for girls, and a lot of the cute boy fabrics (ones with robots or cars or rockets, etc.) are still wovens and you can't make a lot of rough-and-tumble stuff with those. I have had my eye on this project, though, and I might do a few argyles like this for Levi: http://makeitandloveit.blogspot.com/2010/02/re-purposing-boys-tshirts-part-ii.html
oh the argyle is very cute! i agree, girly fabrics are just so cute. i suppose it would take some more ingenuity to make clothes for the boys, though i guess jersey type material/t shirts would be ok. anyway, everything you make is always adorable
