I also finished my first made-from-a-real-pattern dress for me. (I've used patterns before, but only for Lucy.) It also isn't perfect (I should have altered the darts along the back of the skirt, and the sleeves are a tiny bit too big), but I love it. I wore it on Sunday and no one knew I'd made it--and isn't that a good sign? The fabric is Anna Griffin's. I think she might be my favorite fabric designer. Almost every fabric I see and think, "I really love that one!" ends up being hers.

Amazing! Both so cute.
Are you kidding me?! These are amazing!! You inspire me! And of course you look totally beautiful in your new clothes.
You are AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! There are not enough words to describe how impressed I am. I on the other hand, just tried to sew a towel together to make a beach bag, and of course it came out crooked.
The top dress is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! (the bottom one is too, of course, but I already saw that in person!)
WOW!! Katie, these are amazing!! I can't believe you just started sewing like a year ago! You look so sassy and classy! :)
