Welcome

I got some inspiration from this cute blog to make a new welcome wreath. I love that it used up some scraps and materials I already had on hand (except for the wreath base and the mini clothes pins). I have one more base and want to do another, more colorful one. And I need to work on my bow-tying skills. :)

Edit January 2: I redid the bow part today, and it looks much better. I should have known I shouldn't do bows! :) I also made a red and aqua wreath. I'll update the post as soon as I get good pictures.

the bow tying is by far the hardest part for me! i stink at that. shauna is awesome at it, from her floral design days.

Not too long, Suz! It did make a big mess though, as I searched through piles of scrap fabric to find what I wanted. I'd say it took an hour total but would have been shorter if I didn't cut those little letters out by hand. (People with Cricuts and other letter-cutting tools or even an exacto knife would get that done faster.)
