Life has been going fine here. Jon and I have been working on painting the rest of the outside of the house after the front now looks so nice.
I bought these copper plumbing pieces at Home Depot and planted tiny succulents in them:
And, as if I haven't been painting enough, I decided finally to repaint the living room/dining room/entry area of the house. I never really loved the yellow and spent all of the past year trying to live with it. I'll get to the full repaint in a few weeks, probably, after I finish with a couple other projects.

oh oh i love painting! i love the color options for the walls. obviously they are probably a bit distorted by looking at it on my computer, but i think i like the one furthest to the left, by the door... that is, if you want my opinion :)

Hi sis! I do want your opinion. I was convinced I liked the one on the left best, too, until I put a fourth option on the wall. It was the darkest and then made me like the one that is on the right in the picture. So I'll paint a few more, larger sample areas with those two colors (left and right) on a couple of other places in the house before I decide. :)
